During an endometrial biopsy, a small tissue sample of the uterine lining is taken for laboratory analysis to reveal the cause of menstrual abnormalities or postmenopausal bleeding. This is a simple office procedure that is performed using a very small catheter or “straw” that is inserted in the uterus to obtain the tissue sample for review by a pathologist.
Skin tags are small, benign growths on the skin that are generally harmless.
